CCD Registration for the 2019-2020 school year

March 3 – August 30, 2019.

(No Registrations will be accepted after August 30. Early Registration Discount expires on May 15.)

Teachers and hall monitors are needed.

All teachers and hall monitors receive $100 rebate after all volunteer compliance documentation has been submitted. (see Volunteer tab above.)

Early Registration Fees:

  First child in CCD $180, second child in CCD $170, third child in CCD $160.

May 15 – August 30

First child in CCD $205, second child in CCD $195, third child in CCD $185.

Schedule of Classes for 2019 -2020

Sunday 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM

 Monday and Tuesday –  4:30 – 5:45 PM and 6:00 – 7:15 PM

All classes are one hour and fifteen minutes. Students in grade 1 and 2 are dismissed 5-10 minutes earlier for safety reasons.

Home Study option for those in grades 1, 3-7.

In choosing the Home Study option, parents assume complete responsibility for teaching the materials to their children and preparing them for test readiness.

Home Study Registration fees are the same as “in class” Registration fees.

Registration Policies:

***In registering your children for PREP, you are making a commitment to them and to St. Clement Church. This commitment bears responsibility by both parent and child. No other activities should be scheduled which would interfere with these class sessions. Late arrivals, early dismissals and high absenteeism are unacceptable. It sends the wrong message to our children about the importance of Religious Ed and their relationship with Jesus. (Please view Attendance Policy, found on main menu.)

***In order to register for CCD, the family must members of St. Clement Parish. 

***It is our policy that students must attend the day/time/class for which they are registered. Please do not contact the office to ask if your child can attend on other dates/times due to scheduling conflicts.  

***Payment in full is expected at the time of registration, unless previous arrangements have been made with the PREP office. New students must submit Baptism certificate at the time of registration.  

***Classes fill-up quickly and will be available on a first-come, first served basis. (Please see the list of closed classes by clicking on the Registration drop box.)  

***In an effort to hold students more accountable for their learning, students in grades 6, 7  will be tested after each unit in their book (4 times/year). Grade 8 will have a mid-term and a final exam. A minimum of 70% average is required to move on to the next grade. There will be no re-tests offered. Special consideration will be given for those with IEPs. The Syllabus (grade 6, 7, 8) for each is posted on the Calendar tab and Study Guides are posted on the home page.

Supplies needed:                       

All students are required to bring a pencil or pen to class each week!

All 7th and 8th grade students are required to have a PREP notebook and must bring it with them to class each week.

1st and 2nd graders are asked to bring a box of crayons to be kept in class for their use. Please label box with your child’s name.
