Sacramental Preparation Requirements for all Students and Families for 2025-2026
Parent Responsibilities:
***Attend Enrollment Promise Ceremony Meeting
***Enrollment Promise: Signed by parent & student during the 8th Grade Enrollment Ceremony
***Sponsor Statement of Faith and Certification Form due January 25th, 26th or 27th 2026 depending on class day.
***Student Information Sheet due January 25th, 26th or 27th 2026 depending on class day.
Student Responsibilities:
Confirmation Questions – (download below) must be studied so that each student is well-versed by Confirmation day. They may be questioned on Confirmation day.
***Retreat Date is Friday October 17th 2025 6:00 to 9:00 pm Students and an adult are required. preferably their sponsor.
***Letter to Fr. Tom – Why they want to receive Sacrament, how they prepared and will continue to prepare for it and how they will continue to live a life of service. Due December 7th, 8th, or 9th 2025 depending on class day.
***Saint Report – Name of Saint chosen for Confirmation name. Required form to be downloaded from the Confirmation tab on the webpage. Due February 1st 2nd or 3rd 2026 depending on class day.
***Interview of Sponsor – This project is interactive – it’s an interview – not a form to give to the sponsor for him/her to fill out! Required form to be downloaded from the Confirmation tab on the webpage. Due February 8th 9th or 10th 2026 depending on class day.
***Gifts of the Spirit Project – art project (drawing, collage, painting, etc) demonstrating each: Wisdom, Understanding, Right Judgment, Courage, Knowledge, Reverence, Wonder & Awe. Due February 222nd 23rd or 24th 2026 depending on class day.
***Christian Service: Each child will be required to perform 10 hours of Christian Service. Each student shall also write a short reflection (about a paragraph) on how this service experience has affected him/her. Form and reflection due March 1st 2nd or 3rd 2026 depending on class day.
***Regular Attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.
***Students and a Parent (or Parents) are required to attend a one hour Sacramental Preparation session on Tuesday February 17th 2026.
*** Students will attend 11:00 am mass with teachers as a group on Sunday March 8th 2026. There will be a second one hour preparation session following mass. Parents are welcome but not required.
***Practice for Confirmation will be on Tuesday March 10th 2026 at 7:15 until 8:30 pm. Students and Sponsors are required. If Sponsor is unable to attend a parent or anther adult may stand in.

EXAMINATION OF CONSCIENCE FOR YOUTH-1
Confirmation Dress Code Requirements: All students and sponsors must be neatly dressed.
Girls: Dress, skirt and blouse or dress slacks, dress shoes. Beware that spiky heels can catch in the carpeting causing tripping.
Boys: Dress pants or khakis with dress shirt, dress shoes. No jeans, T-shirts or sneakers.
All students will wear robes – the girls will wear white and the boys will wear red.
